As a Club, one of our main priorities is to instill good values.
It sometimes seems that our society is losing that focus. Many, although not all, are only looking out for themselves without any regard for those around them and even those who may be on the same path. This is why we believe it is essential for children to learn from an early age to help others, respect opponents, be compassionate and find ways to contribute and provide solutions. It also serves to teach them to value what they have received and help determine who they are and will become.
For these reasons, we decided that in addition to the benefits of participating in a group activity, we could simultaneously dedicate our efforts to community service. This will allow us not only to serve those in need in different ways, but also for our families to share in related events and activities in which our players will have a leading role.
This aspect of our program is named “Meerkats Helping Hands”.
